    Offsite Ads

    Optional: 15% or 12% of order total when the sale is attributed to Offsite Ads, capped at $100 / order.

    What fees does Etsy charge sellers?

    Common fees are a $0.20 listing fee, a 6.5% transaction fee on price + shipping + gift wrap, and a payment processing fee that depends on your bank country (e.g. 3% + $0.25 in the U.S.). Advertising fees like Offsite Ads or Etsy Ads are extra when they apply.

    Does the 6.5% transaction fee include shipping?

    Yes. Etsy applies the transaction fee to the displayed item price plus shipping and gift wrapping. For U.S. sellers, sales tax is generally not included in the transaction fee base.

    How do I calculate Etsy profit?

    Start with what the buyer pays for the item and shipping, subtract Etsy fees, then subtract your product cost and the shipping you actually pay. This calculator does that breakdown live.
